Tony Romo pulled the plug on his relationship with Jessica Simpson on Thursday (July 9), the night before her 29th birthday.

Harsh!

“She is heartbroken,” a source tells People. “She loves Tony. But it’s been difficult lately. He’s busy with his career and she’s getting ready to shoot her show (The Price of Beauty). They decided to part ways.”

She was supposed to celebrate her birthday with a Ken and Barbie-themed party. “She canceled her party because of this,” another source tells Us Weekly. “She’s doing OK.”

Piolo Pascual will be doing more love scenes with his on-screen partner actress Angel Locsin for  “Land Down Under", which is their first film together.

“Definitely sexy, definitely it’s a love scene …hindi naman siya bold. Angel is sexy so given na iyon,” Pascual said before he flew to Australia late Thursday.

Pascual added that since the film is targeted at the General Patronage market, they will be careful in doing the intimate scenes.

Pascual followed Locsin to Australia to finish the last part of their movie.

“I will be there for 10 days. Sila naka-one week na so I will just catch up,” Pascual added.

In a previous interview with abs-cbnNEWS.com, Pascual shared his excitement for the upcoming movie project with Locsin. “Iba iyong pressure, iba iyong ‘Lobo’. But for a movie it’s a different challenge definitely all together.”

Pascual added that aside from doing a first movie with Locsin, it’s also his first time to work with movie director Rory Quintos.

Pascual said that for the movie, they underwent training for horseback-riding under Vic Barba and actress-equestrienne Mikee Cojuangco.

Aside from being busy with his career that is handled by ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, Pascual is also preparing for his shows abroad with other stars like John Lloyd Cruz.

He also has a coffee table book entitled "Piolo: Believing" that showcases his career highlights.

Pascual started his career in 1997 and had his first big movie break with "Lagarista" in 2000 where he received his first Gawad Urian nomination for Best Actor.

He also starred in ABS-CBN’s series "Sa Piling Mo" last 2006 with actress Judy Ann Santos and last year’s "Walang Kapalit" with Claudine Baretto.

After finishing "Land Down Under," Pascual will be doing another television series for ABS-CBN.

OK! magazine is dishing 10 Things You Must Know about ‘Twilight,’ and we’re sharing some of the secrets here!

Did the real-life Edward Cullen, ‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson, get carried away while kissing the movie’s heroine Bella Swan, played by Kristen Stewart? OK! says that’s true! The film’s director, Catherine Hardwicke, told OK!, "In one of the kissing scenes, Rob got a little passionate and fell off the bed."

Another secret OK! divulges is how Pattinson keeps his spiky hair standing at every angle. "You just don’t wash it," he told the magazine!

And, just like the vampires they portrayed, some cast members feared cloudy days. "On ‘Twilight,’ we needed [an] overcast [sky] as a backdrop, so we prayed for cloudy days," Peter Facinelli, who plays Cullen dad Carlisle, said. "Sunny days held up shooting."

To hear the rest of the 10 Things You Must Know about ‘Twilight,’ pick up OK!’s November 17 issue, on newsstands now. And this year’s most highly anticipated vampire love story hits theaters on November 21.

It has been widely spread in some of the online entertainment sites like justjared and eonline about what happened to Chad Micheal Murray’s interview wherein he kinda spill the beans when he was asked by a news anchor about his relationship and failed marriage to Sophia and he responded: “It’s one of those things where you grow up a lot faster. You’re put in a situation where you’re gonna deal with things right in your face. But I think [Sophia and I] are both professional and mature enough to get through it. And now it’s just easy. We’re just friends. And she’s got James, and James and I are friends. It’s just a little tight group in Wilmington.”

I’m a huge one tree hill fan, and nathan (James Lafferty), brooke (Sophia Bush) are one of my favorite actors in the show, happy for them, i hope we’ll hear it directly from them in the coming days. keep posted.

Here is a picture of them together at the LAX airport, Sophia was under James (with a white cap) right shoulder.

French writer Jan-Marie Gustave Le Clezio won the 2008 Nobel prize for literature, the prize committee said on Thursday.  The Swedish Academy, which decides the winner of the prestigious 10 million Swedish crown ($1.4 million) prize, praised Le Clezio for his adventurous novels, essays and children’s literature.  The award marked the first time a French writer has won the Nobel literature prize since 1985.  The academy said in its statement that Le Clezio was an "author of new departures, poetic adventure and sensual ecstasy, explorer of a humanity beyond and below the reigning civilization."  All but one of the prizes were established in the will of 19th century dynamite tycoon Alfred Nobel and have been handed out since 1901. The economics award was established by Sweden’s central bank in 1968.

The most recent ‘AI’ winner, David Cook, is next with the premiere of the first single, ‘Light On,’ off of his unnamed album. The tune was produced by Grammy-winning producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Kid Rock) and is scheduled for iTunes release on Sept. 30. Meanwhile, Cook’s as-yet-untitled debut album will be released on Nov. 18. Listen to ‘Light On’ below.

David Cook - “Light On” Lyrics

Never really said too much
Afraid it wouldn’t be enough
Just try to keep my spirits up
When there’s no point in grieving
Doesn’t matter anyway
Words could never make me stay
Words will never take my place
When you know I’m leaving

(Chorus)
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
And when it’s late at night you can look inside
You won’t feel so alone

You know we’ve been down that road
What seems a thousand times before
My back to a closing door and my eyes to the seasons
That roll out underneath my heels
And you don’t know how bad it feels
To leave the only one that I have ever believed in

[Chorus]

Sometimes it feels like we’ve run out of luck
When the signal keeps on breaking up
When the wires cross in my brain
You’ll start my heart again
When I come along

[Chorus]
